| The firm's
founder is Mr. William A. Talbot who has wide experience
in the electrical design field both here in the United
States and overseas since 1953. He formally held the
position of Chief Electrical Engineer for Tarapata-MacMahon
Associates, Architects, Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.
Mr. Talbot is a licensed master electrician and has
been responsible for the company's substantial growth
and development.
The firm's President and majority shareholder is
Mr. Stephen W. Talbot, P.E. Stephen holds a degree
in electrical and computer engineering from the University
of Michigan and has twenty five years of experience
in the electrical contracting industry in both Michigan
and California. He is a licensed Professional Engineer
in the states of Michigan and Ohio and is a licensed
master electrician.
Mr. Talbot is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and directs the company's administration and operations. In 1994, Stephen received the Young Engineer of the Year award from the Oakland Chapter of the Michigan Society of Professional Engineers. In addition to his duties at the firm, Stephen also owns and operates Talbot Associates, P.C., Consulting Engineers.
With the exception of our apprentice electricians, all production staff members are either licensed journeymen or master electricians and are members of IBEW Local Union 58. Staff members are experienced in all aspects of commercial and industrial electrical installations, ranging from fiber optic cabling to high voltage distribution. Safety, National Electrical Code and technical upgrade training are part of the ongoing regimen of education in which company employees participate.
